At Ada, the National College of Digital Skills, our mission is to educate and empower the next generation of diverse digital talent. We are a specialist Sixth Form offering a T Level in Digital Production, Design and Development at our Manchester campus as well as being a degree apprentices learning provider in tech and digital.
Our Higher Level Apprenticeships and Degree Apprenticeships are aligned to Level 4 and Level 6 standards.
We use Foundation and B.Sc. Degrees validated by the Open University as core learning components of all our programmes so that we over deliver against the apprenticeship standards and all learners finish with a degree.

We work with employers and experts to iteratively design our curriculum, so we are confident it actually meets the skills needs of industry and can adapt as fast as the tech sector itself.
The pattern of study of the degree programmes is designed to fit around full-time employment and uses a blended learning approach, which mixes work-based study and full-time attendance at college study weeks. In total, apprentices spend 80% of their time at their workplace and 20% at Ada.
All apprentices commit to an initial 5-week full-time Launchpad training that will equip them to add value to their employers from day 1 in the workplace. After that, apprentices follow a block release schedule consisting of 4-8 weeks with their employer in the workplace and 1 week back at Ada, for the remainder of their apprenticeships. A
At Ada, our Level 4 programs span two years. Upon graduation, apprentices have the option to enrol in our top-up program, where they can pursue a full B.Sc. degree with approximately 14–16 months of additional study. This offers maximum flexibility for our employers and apprentices.

The GMLPN deliver the Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge (ASK) Programme across Greater Manchester. Our role is to increase knowledge and understanding of apprenticeship amongst young people and parents and to provide advice on where to find apprenticeships, when to apply and how to apply.
We provide impartial information about technical pathways specialising in apprenticeships and T Levels.

We help them with the recruitment of the Apprentices so a young person applying to us will be included in that process.
Our engineering training centre offers both mechanical and electrical training and industry qualifications.

We are training provider who offer skills bootcamps as an alternative provision for individuals looking to get into a sector. We focus on the tech, healthcare and green jobs sectors and aim to provide free and remote courses with support to help learners into careers.
The Microsoft Azure Cloud bootcamp is a free 12 week programme designed to kickstart your career in tech — the programme is delivered with support from our partners at Microsoft and will prepare you to work in cloud engineering roles that use the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
By the end of the boot-camp, you’ll be able to perform engineering tasks related to building, extending and maintaining software and services running on Microsoft’s Azure Cloud Platform, preparing you to work in teams of tech professionals at a wide variety of different organisations.
As part of the boot-camp, you’ll complete the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals qualifications, which will help set you up for success in future roles.
It is delivered online over Microsoft teams using breakout rooms and virtual classroom. We also use slack for communication between learners and instructors.

LTSB will deliver a free 2-3 week Bootcamp to prepare applicants for NatWest's apprenticeship programme. This Bootcamp focuses on developing key skills such as presentation, communication, and interview techniques to ensure candidates are fully prepared to excel in NatWest’s two-stage interview process.
Successful candidates will then transition to their apprenticeships with NatWest, where they will receive role-specific training and qualifications. The duration of the apprenticeship will depend on the specific role they undertake. This structured process ensures candidates are supported from initial preparation to the start of their new careers.

Unity Radio Academy is located within the heart of Media City UK, and is the education arm of Unity Radio 92.8FM an Ofcom regulated youth focused new music radio station catering for a primary audience of 15 - 30 year olds. Attendance: Most apprenticeships require you to attend College at least one day per week
Duration: 12-48 months depending on the level and apprenticeship undertaken.
Content: most Apprenticeships will include a class room based component (Knowledge) for a set duration as well as preparation for your End Point Assessment.
End Point Assessment: EPA is an assessment that is taken at the end of your Apprenticeship by an independent body to check that you have the knowledge to be able to carry out your job unsupervised. The EPA is similar to a driving test after you have had a number of lessons and can take the form of an interview, observation, exam, written piece of work or a combination of all or some of the above.
Cost: most apprenticeship training is fully funded, but where there are costs, these are covered by the employer.
